Game Overview
Build the Legacy of Mesopotamia’s Great City
Take part in the development of Ur, a flourishing settlement in ancient Mesopotamia, during a time of rapid growth and innovation. In Tabannusi: Builders of Ur, players take on the role of ambitious planners, aiming to reshape five major districts of Ur into thriving centers of culture and influence.
The game board is divided into five regions, each linked to a specific color and a unique type of die. On your turn, you’ll choose a die from a district, which determines not only your current resource but also where your next action will take place.
By carefully choosing actions and managing your influence, you’ll initiate and complete construction projects, compete for dominance in various districts, and interact with the temple and port to unlock bonuses and score points. Ships, favors, and structures all play a role in your journey to greatness.
Keep in mind that timing is everything: once all dice are removed from a district, it immediately triggers a scoring round—so strategic planning is key.
Key Features:
Dice-based action system tied to movement and resource management
Five city zones, each offering distinct opportunities for strategy
Varied paths to victory including construction, temple influence, and shipping
Interactive pacing, where players can speed up scoring through tactical drafting

Will your architectural vision stand above the rest and earn you recognition as the greatest builder of Ur?
