Each Patron Card offers several versatile abilities, and players can choose how to best utilize them to gain an advantage.
Patrons Linked to Specific Experiment Boards
In the base game, Experiment boards are identified only by letters. This expansion personalizes each Experiment by assigning it a Patron with a distinct occupation, backstory, and beautifully illustrated card. This new thematic approach enhances immersion and player engagement.
The Patron Set renames the Experiments as follows:
Experiment A → Banker
Experiment B → Industry Captain
Experiment C → Inventor
Experiment D → Junior Minister
Experiment E → Councillor (requires the Court of Progress board)
Experiment F → Engineer
Each Patron card clearly associates with its Experiment board, providing unique one-time abilities that allow players to adapt their strategies dynamically and explore new tactical possibilities.
