May

Tawantinsuyu Boot Camp
During the month of May, interested individuals are encouraged to hone their Tawantinsuyu skills by playing the game often. Each individual is responsible for organizing their own training sessions, whether using a physical copy of the game or with the aid of the Tabletopia digital platform.

Individuals are welcome to use the Board&Dice Discord server to facilitate audio communication during digital online plays of Tawantinsuyu. The Discord server can also be used to schedule training sessions with other members of the board gaming community.

May 17–30 Registration
• All interested players must register here.
• Registration is free.
• One entry per person.
• Players must be 18 years or older or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
May 31 Player Grouping Announced
• Players will be separated into groups of 4.
Groupings will be listed here using First Name, Last Initial.
June 1–11 Qualifying Round
• During this week, each group must meet to play one game of Tawantinsuyu: The Inca Empire.
• Qualifiers will be played on Tabletopia, using a fixed pre-determined setup.
• Each group is individually responsible for organizing a date and time most suitable for all players within the group.
• Links to the fixed pre-determined setup will be provided on May 31. Players are allowed to examine the setup ahead of their qualifying game.
• No player or group is allowed alter the fixed pre-determined setup in any way.
• At the conclusion of the game, the winner must submit a game report containing an in-game screenshot, the names of all players, their individual scores, and the number of resources owned at the end of the game.
June 12 Quarter Finalists Announced
• Players who won their game during the Qualifying Round are eligible to qualify as Quarter Finalists.
• In the event of more than 64 eligible players, the Top-64 highest scoring winners will qualify.
• In the event of fewer than 64 eligible players, the highest scoring runner-ups will qualify until a full bracket of 64 eligible players has been obtained.
• Quarter Finalists will be separated into groups of 4.
Groupings will be listed here using First Name, Last Initial.
June 14–21 Quarter Finals
• During this week, each group of Quarter Finalists must meet to play one game of Tawantinsuyu: The Inca Empire.
• The Quarter Finals will be played on Tabletopia, using a fixed pre-determined setup (different from that used during the Qualifying Round).
• Each group is individually responsible for organizing a date and time most suitable for all players within the group.
• Links to the fixed pre-determined setup will be provided on May 31. Players are allowed to examine the setup ahead of their qualifying game.
• No player or group is allowed alter the fixed pre-determined setup in any way.
• At the conclusion of the game, the winner must submit a game report containing an in-game screenshot, the names of all players, their individual scores, and the number of resources owned at the end of the game.
June 22 Semi-Finalists Announced
• Players who won their game during the Quarter Final round will advance to the Semi-Finals.
• Semi-Finalists will be separated into groups of 4.
Groupings will be listed here using First Name, Last Initial.
June 24 @ 5:00 PM MDT (June 25 @ 1:00 AM CEST) Semi-Finals
• Each group of Semi-Finalists will meet to play one game of Tawantinsuyu: The Inca Empire.
• The Semi-Finals will be played on Tabletopia, using a fixed pre-determined setup (the same setup as that used during the Quarter Finals).
• A representative from Board&Dice will be present as referee and will make note of the winner.
June 26 @ 11:00 AM MDT / 19:00 CEST

Final
• All Finalists will meet to play one game of Tawantinsuyu: The Inca Empire.
• The Final will be played on Tabletopia, using a fixed pre-determined setup (different setup from that used during the Semi-Finals).
• A representative from Board&Dice will be present as referee and to declare the winner.
• The Final will be streamed live to Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.
• The Brothers Murph will be commenting live during the Final game.

The winner will receive 1,000 USD (One Thousand United States Dollars) as a cash prize.
